How did YRS come about?

We were poking around the web for videos of the camp sites at the Le Mans 24 hour race. If you have never been you have to go! Basically the cars drive for 24 hours (er...obvioulsy) but most of the action (and the fun) is in the campsite. Normally stable and sane men suddenly turn into maniacs building huge campsite, some replete with swimming pools (I kid you not), and driving expensive cars in the daftest of manners.
There were a few videos on the web but not many. Then we got to thinking 'How many fans take videos of their adventures and how cool would it be to see them' A few weeks later and we built YRS..

What content are we looking for?

Sport, sport and more sport. We really would like to see you reporting on your experience at events and it would be so cool for someone to get fan interviews with the sports stars...

What's in it for you?

Apart from the warm sticky feeling of sharing your experiences... we are going to run some competitions... anyone who gets a YRS interview with a star is in pole position... No stalking... please.. but generally we are looking for the fans stories and what they got up to at events... any thing sports related an cool, is just fine by us. We also do some challenges for you, and send the winner a fantastic gadget or (if we are flush) some lovely crisp bank notes...you will see the challenges and competitons advertised on the site occassionally... have a go.. it will be fun.

YRS Rules?

We know sports fans are passionate, but please play nicely... oh.. and please, please, please do not upload copyrighted content..it will just be taken down as soon as we are informed it's there.. oh and no porn.. we are aware that 'the dance of the flaming ass****s' is highly amusing (Le Man veterans will know what I mean) but anything too gratuitous will be gone...
